Strenght Class is a 30 Minute class.
Atlanta Krav Maga & Fitness Strength class is a class focused on exercises that focus on building strength. You will use an assortment of equipment; barbells, dumbbells, squat bar, deadlift bar, trap bar, body weight, resistance bands, medicine ball, kettlebells, and more to increase muscular endurance and shorten recovery time.
All exercises are taught to students to ensure proper form. All fitness levels are welcome. Regardless if you are a fitness guru, or a complete beginner. We will help get you to your fitness goals.
Each class is different. Your body is sure to be challenged each and every class.
T.I.R.E is a 30 Minutes.
T.I.R.E is an acronym for the muscles of your core.
T – transversus abdominis
I – internal oblique muscles
R – rectus abdominis muscles
E – external oblique muscles
Atlanta Krav Maga & Fitness TIRE class focuses on the core muscle groups of your body. In this 30 minute class you will use exercises that will strengthen your entire core. With a focus of high intensity cardio, you will use body weight, medicine balls, low weight barbells, and more to melt fat fast so you can show off your abs!
Combat Fitness is a 60 minute class; half strength and conditioning and half focus mitt combinations.
This training starts with a light warm up followed by high intensity interval training workouts using everything from medicine balls to resistance band to body weight to dumbbells to jump boxes and more for use in a variety of different exercises. Students are taught 3 to 4 exercises to be completed in sets of 3 to 4 then repeating this process with 3 to 4 new exercises.
The second half of Combat Fitness uses a variety of punches, kicks and knee combinations using focus mitts and a partner. Focus mitts are used to catch your partners punches and kicks. The instructor will teach both the punch – kick combinations, as well as teaching how to hold the focus mitts.
Students will work with a partner for the focus mitt work. Each partner will go back and forth 2 to 2 and 1/2 min rounds, teaching you a new combination after both have completed the round.
Combat Fitness is always different, always challenging, and always fun. Boxing gloves required!
Atlanta Krav Maga’s Kettlebell class is a special weight training class using a Kettlebell. A kettlebell is a weight with a handle that is used in weight training. Think of a cannonball with handles. Its unique design allows for more total body exercises using a single weight.
Kettlebell combine’s cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training. Kettlebell class is a workout for your entire body. It will challenge your whole body.
